Kolín Ovčáry - Yusen Logistics

The new logistics centre for Yusen Logistics (Czech) addresses the need for additional logistics capacity in the Kolín–Ovčáry industrial zone, supporting the continued development of Toyota’s manufacturing plant.

We provide comprehensive design preparation, project documentation for permitting, tender documentation for contractor selection and technical coordination.

The new cross-dock facility, with an area of over 22,000 sqm, is designed to maximise the efficiency of goods flows and day-to-day logistics operations. It features 27 hydraulic loading docks, 9 drive-in doors and a clear height of 12 metres.

The project integrates with the existing operations and infrastructure of the industrial zone. It includes the recycling of existing paved surfaces and the integration of building systems with the existing facilities through a Building Management System (BMS).

The design also incorporates features focused on energy efficiency and sustainability, including 766 photovoltaic panels, stormwater management, LED lighting and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The building is designed to achieve an Energy Performance Certificate rating of A.
