DMC ValMez

DMC ValMez is a 13-hectare industrial site that we are gradually transforming from a former manufacturing facility into a modern industrial hub, with new technical and energy infrastructure and room for further development.

As part of the project, we provide comprehensive design and engineering support for the site’s regeneration – from surveying and documenting existing infrastructure, reviewing easements and property ownership arrangements, to designing modifications and extensions to the technical infrastructure, and preparing and obtaining permits for the new DMC 1, DMC 2 and DMC 3 buildings.

A particular challenge is working with a site where complete historical infrastructure documentation is unavailable. We are therefore progressively verifying and mapping existing utility networks, while designing new solutions based on actual site conditions and its future use. Given the site’s immediate proximity to the Bečva River, changes also require close coordination with the Morava River Basin Authority.

Energy infrastructure is a key part of the site’s future development. The site has a 110 kV grid connection and its own local distribution network, and we are also preparing a battery energy storage system project.
